One of the more reliable Internet blogs that I read is Bionic Mosquito. I found the entry of July 28 to be in accordance with my own conclusions. I quote:

One of the paths I have taken at this blog is a significant examination of the many false histories we have been taught, the lies used to justify action, the way evil was described as virtuous.  When I began that journey, I was already somewhat skeptical of the narrative; as I worked through that journey, I have come to conclude that everything being described to us about meaningful events in our history is a lie.

The sons of disobedience always lie, because their father always lies.  It is in their nature because it is their father’s nature.  Every major event in my lifetime (and for centuries before this) has been based on a lie or explained away by a lie.

For this reason, I didn’t believe for a minute that we faced a plague of medieval proportions (see my earliest thoughts here, here, and here – all from March 2020).  I didn’t need to have a complete answer of the truth; just that I knew what we were being told was a lie.

There are several important factors I consider regarding which church to attend, and it is a question I – like many of us, I suppose – have had to face in the last year.  I am coming to the conclusion that the highest factor on the list might be how that church dealt with the nonsense of the last eighteen months.

Being a pastor, the last paragraph quoted above speaks personally to me.

So, how many churches remained opened during the entirety of 2020? No one knows for sure, but I surmise the total was less than 5%. And I doubt that I’m very far off. 

If my estimate is close to accurate, it would mean that 95% of America’s Christians are sitting under pastors that possess zero spiritual discernment, as they eagerly submit to the satanic deception that is known as the Covid narrative. And of the 5% that recognized the deception and had the courage to defy the authorities that were fomenting it, I doubt that any one particular denomination would stand out.

Interestingly enough, it was 5% of pastors and churches in Germany that defied Adolf Hitler, according to historian Erwin Lutzer.

The brave Christian theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who led the Pastor’s Emergency League, which became known as The Confessing Church, in opposition to the Nazi regime—and whom Hitler murdered shortly before Germany surrendered—said:

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.

How is it that all of the evangelism of the past 50+ years has produced such an undiscerning, weak and cowardly Church? Where are the Dietrich Bonhoeffers, the Jonas Clarks, the Martin Luthers, the William Tyndales and the John Wycliffes?

How is it that the world’s first global siege can take place, and the vast majority of pastors and Christians not even notice?

A few reasons seem obvious:

1. Over 50 years of a false interpretation of Romans 13 that Christians must always obey civil authority.

Lutzer noted:

Many of our Christian heroes were lawbreakers. Whether it was John Bunyan, who sat in a Bedford jail for his preaching, Richard Wurmbrand, who was beaten for teaching the Bible in Communist Romania, Christians have always insisted that there is a law higher than that of the state.

2. The elevation of social acceptance now prevalent in most churches.

From the advent of the Church—including the physical life of the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ—the single characteristic most commonly associated with Christians was nonconformity to the world system, which was known to be under the control and dominion of the Evil One. (See Romans 12:2; I Corinthians 3:19; II Corinthians 4:4; Galatians 6:14; Ephesians 5:11; Hebrews 11:7; James 4:4) 

Today, pastors crave social and political acceptance. Their churches and ministries are deliberately conformed to worldly characteristics. They not only seek the approval of civic leaders, they glorify them, regardless of their adherence—or lack thereof—to Biblical and constitutional standards.

3. Over 50 years of false Israel-based “rapture” and “tribulation” teaching.

These false prophecy doctrines have created an apathetic and even fatalistic spirit on an unprecedented scale. This kind of preaching and teaching spiritualizes away the practical application of divine principles to the point of making them completely irrelevant. In fact, the word irrelevant seems to best describe the vast majority of evangelical churches today.

4. Old-fashioned cowardice.

Theodore Roosevelt is not one of my favorite presidents, but he might have said it best:

The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.

Thomas Jefferson’s “spirit of resistance” is dead in the average church. Ditto for Patrick Henry’s “holy cause of liberty” and George Washington’s “sacred fire of liberty.” 

A man of God who is not willing to risk everything with every sermon he delivers is not really a man of God at all.

I love the way A.W. Tozer said it:

The pastor, when facing his congregation on Sunday morning, dare not think of the effect his sermon may have on his job, his salary, or his future relation to the church. Let him but worry about tomorrow and he becomes a hireling and no true shepherd of the sheep. No man is a good preacher who is not willing to lay his future on the line every time he expounds the Word. He must let his job and his reputation ride on each and every sermon or he has no right to think that he stands in the prophetic tradition.

The global siege known as the Covid narrative will not go away without mass resistance—especially from the Church. This is a supernatural siege. It requires supernatural resistance.

The god of this world who is pulling the strings of the world’s leaders promoting this deception has no intention of willingly abandoning the siege.

Lockdowns; shutdowns; closures; masks; social distancing; etc., are still in our future. We were told that getting the jab would set us free and return us back to “normal.” Now, they tell us that being vaccinated does nothing to lessen the grip of the “pandemic.” The new “delta” strain requires that even vaccinated people again mask up. In truth, Covid masks are the quintessential symbol of submission to this new medical tyranny.

Regardless, the Walt Disney Company will not be the only company to require all of its employees to take the jab. And New York City will not be the only city to require people eating in restaurants and entering other establishments to take the jab. 

By now, the only people who do not know that the Covid vaccinations are dangerous and potentially life-threatening are people who don’t WANT to know. But what everyone needs to know is that the narrative itself is a death sentence for Liberty.

And the blatantly unconstitutional action taken this week by the CDC should be ample evidence that it is nothing more than a political arm of progressive Democrats and should be given NO credibility by any local or State government or by any of the American people.

Just a few days ago, there was a monumental court case in Alberta, Canada, that the media is desperately trying to conceal. Here is a watered-down version of the case (without mentioning the case) in a Canadian news outlet:

Alberta is lifting much of its remaining COVID-19 restrictions in the coming weeks.

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw, in her first COVID-19 update since June 29, announced Wednesday that starting Aug. 16, people who test positive for COVID-19 will not be mandated to quarantine anymore.

Additionally, Albertans with COVID-19 symptoms will not be asked to get tested, but to stay at home until they feel better.

That was just part of a shift in the province’s public health response as it moves to lift a number of measures related to quarantine, isolation and masks.

Starting Thursday, close contacts of COVID-19 cases will no longer be mandated to quarantine.

Masks won’t be mandatory in public transit, rideshares and taxies starting on Aug. 16, the province announced. Some masking may still be required in hospitals or continuing care facilities.

The backstory is that an Alberta citizen named Pat King went to court after he was fined $1,200 for violating a Covid law banning more than 10 people assembling together. In court last month, King subpoenaed the Chief Medical Officer, Deena Hinshaw, to present the court with material evidence that Covid existed. Hinshaw and the Alberta provincial government could not produce the material evidence for the isolation of SARS-COV-2.  

Because the Chief Medical Officer of Health of Alberta could not produce the requested material evidence, Alberta closed its Covid regime—contact tracing, quarantining, masks, social distancing, etc. Instead, they declared Covid to be no more than a flu.

Americans all over the country should be following this brave Canadian’s example and start demanding that the respective governments (State, county and municipal) prove in a court of law via scientific data that SARS-COV-2 exists.

As several scholars and researchers have well documented, that data does not exist.

All over Europe, especially in France, Italy and Germany, millions of people are taking to the streets in protest over myriad draconian Covid restrictions to their liberties. The American people should follow suit.

Reality is another matter, as weakness is forever present in the minds of men, and therefore tyranny and control are easily accomplished by those who understand that the common masses will always obey the dominate master class at the expense of their own liberty, so long as they are promised safety in return. This grotesque phenomenon will be the ruination of humanity.

All that is happening today is based on this premise, and the ruling ‘authority’ has taken control of the entire population of the planet by simply introducing the idea that a great crisis that does not even exist is present, and is an imminent and ongoing menace to society. In doing so, they claim to be a prophet, false of course, promising to defend the people, when just the opposite is intended. Instead of reacting in some sort of logical or sane manner, the general population en masse has acquiesced to the controlling power, and in doing so has taken the neutral position explained so well by Alighieri, all at the great expense of their own lives and freedom. This attitude is one of not only great harm, but exposes the worst side of humanity, as most hide and wallow in unnecessary fear while their very existence is threatened. Other than the children, those that take this position deserve no empathy.

By hiding from the truth, the herd does not seek to understand what is actually happening around them, but concentrates only on their local, immediate, and present circumstances, while ignoring all the signs of impending doom that are brutally obvious to any thinking individual. In doing so, the spectre of tyranny grows ever faster, and without enough resistance to stop the premeditated onslaught against the common people.

The people of this country falsely called the “united states” has one great advantage over most others on earth, but fails to see their favored position due to ignorance and brainwashing over time. That advantage is that the people of this country still have many guns to defend themselves against the terror that is the ‘State;’ that ‘State’ that is continuously at war against its own people. It is not the active use of guns and bullets that is so important, but the threat, capability, and willingness to do so is certainly enough to halt the advancing totalitarian policies of the ruling class. They are all cowards after all. They are the few, while the people are the many, and being armed is the best protection against tyrannical behavior by evil and corrupt governments. The people in most countries around the world have been forcibly (or more likely, voluntarily) disarmed, and are at much greater risk than Americans today. That is why the most restrictive, regulated, and heinous policies are being advanced faster in other parts of the world, but it will all be here very soon if this society allows it. If U.S. citizens did not have guns, it would be no different now here than in Canada, Australia, China, the United Kingdom and much of Europe, and many other places around the globe. This is why it is imperative for Americans to understand that everything going on in these captured societies is coming here soon, so watching the world around you is of great importance. It is also necessary to listen to the controlling political class in this country that is constantly attempting to capture and control arms and ammunition, with the future aim of eliminating all gun ownership here just as has already happened across the globe. The only reason we are not already living in a total dictatorial society is because we have the armed capability to stop this government’s attempts to create a totalitarian master/slave nation.

The more restrictive and brutal activity that is levied against the people in the countries mentioned above, among others, the more likely it will be accepted by the drones of this country. If that occurs, the takeover of America will be successful in short order in my opinion. That would be the end of this country, as a new system of technocratic dictatorship would be put into place. The illegitimate and poisonous gene-altering injections called ‘vaccines’ are meant to help this along by changing the mental and physical makeup of the masses, accelerating submissive behavior, and allowing for more control in order to create a compliant populace that will accept their new status as dependent wards of the state.

Much of Australia is locked down, and travel for Australian citizens and tourists is virtually impossible in much of that country. Restrictions and mandates are ever increasing, including ‘vaccine passports.

The evil Macron in France has “announced that from next month anyone wanting to go out to eat or drink, take a long-distance train or visit a shopping centre will need to show either proof of vaccination or a negative test. The so-called “health pass” will also be needed to attend a festival, a theatre show or a cinema screening as part of the government’s strategy to tackle the surging number of new cases linked to the Delta Variant. You will have understood that vaccination is not obligatory straight away, but we are going to extend the health pass to its maximum to encourage as many of you as possible to get yourselves vaccinated,” Macron said.

In Canada, besides all the massive tyranny that has already occurred, now in Vancouver, all arrivals into that country are separated into vaccinated/unvaccinated lines, not unlike the heinous racial segregation in the past.

As we all know, 2020 was a rocky year, with the onset of COVID-19 causing a wide range of problems. This has continued into 2021 and shows no signs of stopping.

While we may be actually crawling our way out from under the COVID pandemic, we’re just starting to see the impact that it has had on our nation; specifically, the impact that it has had on our economy.

There’s no question that the pandemic took a severe hit on our economy. On top of that, Congress has gone on a spending spree, with their “COVID stimulus packages” which have been filled with spending for pork projects. But that’s only a portion of what COVID is ultimately going to cost the country.

Economic Presumptions

As we claw our way out of this pandemic, we’re just beginning to see the overall cost. One pair of Harvard economists has estimated that the total price tag for the pandemic will be over 16 trillion dollars for the United States alone; and that’s if we’re back to normal by the fall of 2021, just a few short months away.

There has already been too much finger pointing that has happened about this crisis and I don’t want to add to it. But there’s plenty of room to question whether decisions which were made solely to protect us from the disease were the best possible decisions.

Of course, like everyone else, I’m looking from the advantage of hindsight, unlike our government officials, who had to make their decisions in real time, based upon incomplete data, as the medical community was still trying to understand the disease.

Our Liberty

I have been reminded over and over again about a famous quote of Benjamin Franklin. He said, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty or Safety.” Yet throughout the pandemic, it seems to me that we have been collectively forced to give up our liberty throughout the pandemic, in a somewhat vain search for security.

I’m not talking about wearing masks, social distancing or not shaking hands; I’m talking about the millions of people whose finances have been destroyed, especially the small business owners whose doors were shuttered by government fiat, many of them permanently.

Those people lost their life’s work and savings, all for the purpose of trying to make others feel safe and the government “help” for small businesses did nothing to help those business owners, just to help their employees. Yet I don’t see where Wal-Mart was forced to suffer by government edict.

So just where does this leave us? Simply put, it leaves our nation in severe financial danger.

Financial gurus have been saying that a collapse is coming for several years now, and it seems like we are on the brink of it happening. It’s like that famous house of cards, where the key card has been removed and we’re all waiting for a puff of wind to knock it down.

Government Spending Out of Control

Probably the biggest thing that’s leading us into financial collapse is government spending.

As the government mandates lockdowns spread across the country and around the world, over 40 million American workers were sent home to wait out the pandemic.

Many of those were temporary furloughs, so they aren’t counted amongst the unemployed; yet they still weren’t gainfully employed.

In response to that, Congress passed several “Coronavirus relief bills” totaling somewhere north of 4 trillion dollars. That money was supposed to help people make it through the hard times, with some going out in stimulus checks and even more going out in small business loans and unemployment bonuses.

Yet for some of those who were out of work, it wasn’t enough to make ends meet. On the other hand, there were those who made more sitting home on unemployment, than they did working.

So where did all this money come from? We may as well say that it came out of thin air. The Federal Reserve bank loaned it to the federal government, creating it by buying the debt. If anyone else but the Fed had done that, they would have gone to jail for fraud.

They Don’t See the Problem

This has taught Congress that they can spend money with impunity. President Biden’s six trillion dollar budget proposal and Congress’ two trillion dollar plus infrastructure bill show this clearly. Once they broke that trillion dollar ceiling during the pandemic, they realized they could just keep spending, without repercussions.

Somehow, a group of economists have come up with the idea that our nation can sustain a much higher level of debt than previously realized. This idea has clearly been bought into by those currently in power and they are planning on spending every dollar of the new “credit limit” they can.

At the same time, the economic recovery that we were seeing towards the end of 2020 has stagnated, as investors have lost confidence in the economy. People are spending the money they saved during the lockdown, and the president is pointing to that as a sign of economic recovery.

But it’s clear that what’s happening is a temporary surge, and nothing more. Long-term economic indicators are not looking as good as the short-term ones that they’re touting do.

Rising Inflation

One of the more dangerous economic indicators we’re seeing right now is rising inflation.

For over a decade now, inflation has hovered around one percent or less. Yet in the first few months of 2021, we are looking at an “official” annualized rate of over 4.2% (as of April 2021), with that number jumping up by more than 1.5% from March to April alone. Chances are pretty good that it will climb much higher than that before the year is out.

Leading the way are increased costs in housing, fuel, food and lumber. New house prices are up over $30,000 from last year, due to lumber shortages. As that is probably a temporary spike, those who buy houses at that inflated rate will probably lose money, just as those who lost their homes in the 2008/2009 crash.

At least part of the rise in gasoline costs can be attributed directly to policy decisions being made by the president. In the last four years, we’ve gone from being a net importer of petroleum to a net exporter.

That has come to an end, as the new president has reversed many of the policies put forth by the previous one; and he has done so without any apparent concern about what those decisions will do to the economy.

The Loss of Main Street

I’ve already mentioned the devastating impact that COVID has had on small businesses. Figures are sketchy and aren’t by any means finalized, as can be seen by the fact that nobody can agree on just how many businesses have failed.

I can find figures which range all the way from 100,000 to 9 million, making it basically impossible to find the truth in those numbers. The small business relief the government offered went largely to larger, well established businesses, rather than the mom and pop shops that you and I think of, when we hear the term “small business.”

Even then, the only way of receiving loan forgiveness on those loans was to use at least 75% of it to pay the wages of people who weren’t working. It didn’t help those mom and pop shops pay the rent, keep the lights on or even pay themselves.

With little to no reserves, many were forced to shut down permanently; but they don’t get added to the statistics, because there are no bankruptcy proceedings for government statisticians to count.

Those mom and pop shops weren’t the only ones to suffer though. One list (which was written in the fall of 2020) shows 53 major retail corporations which have filed for bankruptcy due to COVID-19.

Granted, some of these companies were in bad financial straits before the pandemic hit; but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the loss of business during 2020 was enough to put them under.

Unemployment Remains too High

The two prime indicators of financial collapse are high inflation and high unemployment. Yet, after historically low unemployment before COVID hit, we are not seeing people go back to work as quickly as they should, now that businesses are reopening after the lockdown restrictions have been lifted.

Part of this is because the businesses that those people worked for just plain don’t exist anymore. It’s hard to go back to work at a company which has been forced to shut the doors. But much of it is because government policy is encouraging people to stay home.

With the Coronavirus bonus attached to unemployment, there are many retail and food service workers who are making more money watching daytime television, than they made working at their jobs.

“Official” unemployment stands at 9.7 million as of this writing. But that number is a bit misleading. In reality, there are over 16 million people out of work. But the official number is somewhere over 16 million. The discrepancy is that the official figure covers only those who are on unemployment.

On top of that, we face a national skills crisis that is only getting worse. Before COVID hit, there were six million jobs remaining unfilled for skilled workers. But there weren’t the skilled workers available to fill those jobs. That’s because by and large people weren’t learning those skills.

The current philosophy that everyone should go to college and get a degree is producing a lot of people with unmarketable degrees in fields where there are minimal jobs and steering people away from learning skills which will land them a stolid, well paying, blue collar career.

Anti-Business Government Policies are in Effect

The two major political parties have very different philosophies about business and job creation. Republicans are largely supportive of business, while Democrats have the idea that jobs come from the government. They aren’t as concerned about business, other than to see it as a source of tax revenue.

A number of Democrat politicians have publically stated that businesses making a profit are “greedy” and that they should give those profits to the government, as the government can better spend that money.

With that underlying attitude, it’s no wonder that the current administration and Congress are taking a number of moves which are not good for private business.

The shutdown of the Keystone Pipeline project was only the tip of the iceberg in this, as they are doing a number of other things which are taking away business profits, causing people to lose their jobs and sending jobs overseas.

Out National Debt

I’ve been hearing that our national debt is unsustainable at least since 2009. Yet it continues to climb and as I already mentioned, talking about government spending being out of control, it is climbing faster than ever.

I can remember when it was said that a national debt higher than our GNP was unsustainable. Well, we’re well past that, with the national debt over 28 trillion right now and the GNP at about 22 trillion. So why haven’t we crashed already? Because the US dollar is the world’s reserve currency.

We literally export our debt overseas, because other countries need American dollars to do business.

With the current budget and infrastructure bills in Congress, there’s no saying just how bad our national debt will become. But with other major world players trying to take over the dollar’s place as the world’s reserve currency, things are on very shaky ground.

Media Hiding the Truth

Finally, the mainstream media isn’t telling us the truth about what is happening. The term “fake news” gained a lot of popularity over the last few years, first as a smear campaign aimed at right-wing news sources and then as a description of what comes out of the legacy media.

With everything being seen as being political, every story is “spun” to make Democrats look good and Republicans look bad.

The big problem with this is that the American people are put in the place of trying to make decisions based on flawed information. When we don’t know what’s really happening, we can’t prepare. Yet the media, rather than just presenting the facts, is painting everything with a political brush.

Ultimately, this means that instead of making the kinds of decisions which will help forestall any financial disaster and will best protect our families, we are making decisions based upon emotion. All those people who are buying houses right now, driving the prices up, wouldn’t be buying them if they realized we’re on the brink of a financial cliff.

Yet because they are being kept in the dark, they’re literally helping to build that cliff higher. They will be the ones to suffer, rather than anyone sitting in a plush office in Washington DC or a plush office on Wall Street.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio imposed a vaccine mandate this week. “If you want to participate in our society fully, you’ve got to get vaccinated,” the mayor told reporters. “It’s time.” The new order requires New Yorkers to show proof of vaccination to enter restaurants, gyms, theaters, and other indoor venues. It’s not yet clear how city officials plan to enforce the rule, but the mayor wants to send a clear message the city will punish the unvaxxed far more than it punishes criminals.

The same city that wants to bar unvaxxed people from restaurants and gyms also releases dangerous criminals without bail and refuses to prosecute prostitutes and Black Lives Matter rioters. You may face jail time if you try to enter a restaurant without showing your papers, but you won’t face jail time if you throw a rock through the restaurant’s window to protest racial injustice. 

This is anarcho-tyranny, and it’s now live in New York City and across much of America. The vaccination passport comes at a time when our own government coddles criminals and opens our borders to illegal aliens. The anarcho-tyranny isn’t enacted out of stupidity or some temporary lapse in reason. It’s intentional. Democrats want to punish middle Americans and bestow favors on their own constituents. The anarcho-tyranny mandate does just that.

The push for vaccine passports is primarily driven by the thought that it will hurt Donald Trump supporters the most. Liberals seem to relish the idea of seeing deplorables kicked out of restaurants and forced to beg for food. They especially like the idea of all of them being placed alongside terrorists on the no-fly list. Former Homeland Security assistant secretary Juliette Kayyem made this case in The Atlantic last week, arguing that “flying is not a right.” (The original headline for the op-ed said unvaccinated people “belong on the no-fly list.” The revised title merely says they should “bear the burden.”) 

“For the privilege of flying, Americans already give up a lot: We disclose our personal information, toss our water bottles, extinguish our cigarette butts, and lock our guns in checked luggage. For vaccinated people, having to show proof of vaccination when flying would be a minor inconvenience,” Kayyem writes. It would be a minor inconvenience, certainly, for a woman who calls Trump supporters “domestic terrorists” to enjoy her unfettered right to travel while denying her enemies the same right.

The government and media help stir up popular anger at the unvaccinated, planting the idea that those who refuse the experimental vaccine should lose their rights. The propaganda appears to be working, as a narrow majority of the public backs a vaccine mandate to travel, work, and go to school. Democrats, of course, are the most supportive of such measures.

What’s most interesting, though, is that the people who would be the most adversely affected by vaccine passports, especially in New York City, are not MAGA hat-wearing yokels. It would be racial minorities. In New York City, only 38 percent of black residents are fully vaccinated. Just a little over 28 percent of black Americans are vaccinated nationwide. Enforcement of a vax mandate would lead to disparate impact and aggravate Black Lives Matter complaints against the justice system. 

A few liberals get this. Boston Mayor Kim Janey, who is black, compared vaccine passports to slavery laws and “birtherism,” arguing such mandates would disproportionately harm nonwhites. But Janey’s fellow liberals ignore her criticism, pretending instead that only blinkered white Republicans would be hardest hit.

An obvious hypocrisy with this enthusiasm for vax passports is the Left’s complete opposition to voter ID laws. Many conservatives have noted this fact with dismay. How can anyone demand  papers for entry to a restaurant while at the same time decrying voter ID requirements as “Jim Crow on steroids”? 

It doesn’t need to make sense. Vax passports promise to hurt Democrats’ enemies while voter ID laws harm their friends and interests. That’s all that matters. That’s life under anarcho-tyranny.

While you may not be able to board a plane or go to a gym without a vaccine passport, you can rest assured that your tax dollars pay for free flights of unvaccinated illegal aliens to various unsuspecting states. Many facilities release COVID-positive migrants with zero precautions. One city in Texas reports that at least 7,000 illegal aliens with COVID have been let go into its jurisdiction since February. Just imagine how many of the hundreds of thousands of migrants who have poured into our nation under Biden carry the virus. The Biden Administration now plans to offer vaccines to illegal aliens who are likely to be released into the country. A nice gesture for sure, but the migrants can refuse the jab and still have more freedom than an unvaxxed citizen in New York City. Is that what the land of the free is all about?

The vaccine passport will not be the last or even the worst sign of anarcho-tyranny. As long as Democrats can dream of new ways to punish their enemies while rewarding criminals and illegals, they will push for these threats against basic American freedom. Liberals feel too good about punishing the “bad people” to comprehend the long-lasting damage to our republic. 

There’s no going back to normal—anarcho-tyranny is here to stay.

Just as you would prepare for a hurricane, the population must lay in stores of food and supplies to maintain their standard of living for the duration of the destruction. They must make sure they are in a safe location that will not get brown away or inundated with water from the storm surge. They must have the means to provide heat and cook food when the power system goes down. They must be able to protect themselves from any wolves that appear in any form. They must be prepared to rebuild after the storm passes. They must be prepared to weather this storm for 10 to 20 years until it blows itself out.

War is being fomented and when it comes the U.S. will be hard pressed to survive it. Our military is being downsized, weapons systems are being reduced and many senior commanders are being fired for dubious reasons at best. The civil population is being systematically impoverished while government operatives tell them the nation is strong and getting stronger. Our manufacturing base has been dismantled and over 17% of our food is imported today. We have bankers that are stealing hard assets with fiat funny money and plan to steal peoples savings with new government regulations and laws. We are on the verge of losing reserve currency status and our banking system as we know it.

We are being inundated by foreigners that seek government entitlements and refuse to assimilate the American culture or language further dividing the civil population into domestic tribes hostile to one another. We have terrorist training camps within our borders and a lack of border control. We have members of the Muslim Brotherhood in the highest levels of our government and leaders that are ignorant at best and treasonous at worst.

• A lost super-food will bulletproof you against any food shortage or famine. It’s a food that vanished with the Incas over 6 centuries ago. This mysterious dish was just recently rediscovered by NASA who has been giving away rations of it to our brave men and women in their month-long space missions. The Incas stored it in pit holes for up to 10 years, ate it year-round, and actually used it to survive a 4 year long super-drought that wiped out their southern neighbors. So, if it managed to save the Incas centuries ago and it still works for our astronauts today, you can bet your last dollar it will keep you and your family well fed in any crisis. As a recipient of an E.C. Harwood Visiting Research Fellowship at the American Institute for Economic Research, I am inspired by tales of the principled battles that Colonel Harwood fought in support of the ideals behind the US Constitution. Taking his oath to support that great document as a lodestar, his support for the cause of human liberty and personal dignity led him to be a vocal opponent of the policies of FDR’s New Deal. As such, he continued doing so despite orders from his military commanders to cease his criticisms, eventually choosing to take early retirement from a promising military career as a graduate of West Point.

My lesson from his brave acts against the most powerful institutions in the US is that being a true patriot requires supporting an ideology of individual freedom rather than accepting partisan interests that violate foundational precepts. As such, Americans wishing for a united and prosperous country should follow Edward Harwood’s example to challenge the authority of government officials and question assertions of “experts” they use for support.

This contrarian behavior is even more urgent given the drift of public policy in recent years that would expand political powers beyond FDR’s wildest dreams, at the expense of private property rights and human liberty. As it is, public policies have become increasingly pointed towards responses to claims that irresponsible actions by humans are causing environmental degradation and climate change.

While the emergence of a novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, and the disease that it might cause, Covid-19, are now at center stage, they share equal billing with the former only slightly in the background. In all events, this pair of menaces offers a convenient pretense for government officials to seek expansions in their powers that give them greater control over human actions and private resources. Initially, the specter of climate change was not enough to induce most citizens to accept enhanced political power that would diminish their liberty and curtail their personal rights.

However, fear ginned up during the recent pandemic based on pronouncements reflecting “expert” authority caused individuals to stop thinking of health as a personal issue and to embrace “public health.” The notion that “public health” reflects an objective reality must be challenged, especially since so much focus is on only one among many viruses and on only one disease among many ailments that afflict mankind. It is troubling that these political feats of legerdemain have induced many citizens to accept an artificial collective construct, with solidarity dominating individual autonomy and security elevated over human liberty.

While human health and protecting or rehabilitating the natural environment are indisputably worthy goals, a holistic approach to these matters requires considering their impact on the individual lives of humans.

Curbs on individual behavior and resource use to serve “public health” or the natural environment involve an unhealthy confusion of politics and “science.” In the end, the nonpharmaceutical interventions related to the Covid-19 pandemic might turn out to have been a dress rehearsal that serves as a roadmap for “climate action” to offset global warming.

Even if there is agreement on problems arising from human activity, the debate should be about the efficacy of the range of remedial actions that are available. As such, the quest for solutions should begin with an understanding that government interventions can often cause problems rather than be an appropriate remedy.

For example, governments failed to serve as guardians of the natural environment as seen in the ecological destruction in the name of authoritarian socialism practiced by the Soviet bloc or Mainland (Red) China. In those cases, the expansion of the scope of private actions and a (partial) retreat from State control over resources brought improvements.

While such obvious failures of authoritarianism associated with communism led to them being widely rejected, there is a risk that ecologically-based or pseudo-scientific authoritarianism could replace it.

In his book, The Counter-Revolution of Science, F. A. Hayek identified such a possibility under the rubric of “scientism” that involved a shift in the scientific method from strict empiricism, critical thought, and objectivity toward nonempirical, purely subjective, elitist and a collectivist approach to doing science.

As such, consensus replaces strict empiricism and independent open criticism normally associated with the scientific method. Since scientism, as “scientific consensus” trumps everything else, including reason, there is a danger that falsehoods, even those previously proven false, could be elevated by a majority of “scientists” accepting them.

An emerging form of scientism follows along the lines of communist-era bureaucrats who engaged in social engineering and compelled individuals to act on behalf of the wider community. Pursuit of social goals, whether “public health” or environmentalism, that ignore individual rights and human liberty have often led to disastrous outcomes. Indeed, the worst failures of socialism in the pursuit of social goals were brought about by unintended and unforeseen consequences.

Besides material depredation associated with historical experiments with socialism, there was a loss of social capital from interfering with mutual trust that tends to emerge from voluntary exchanges. Should citizens resist limits on their individual liberty and rights to achieve collective goals, authoritarian repression becomes an inevitable instrument to “pacify” the masses.

Such excesses and abuse of State power occurred over a vast range of collectivist regimes. For example, National Socialists under Adolf Hitler implemented policies that might appeal to some of the most extreme ecologists of today. One element of the philosophy of the Nazi Party (gemeinnutz vor Eigennutz) promoted the good of the whole over the good of the individual. On the one hand, there was an explicit opposition to alcohol and tobacco consumption.

More ominously, compulsory sterilization was required of the mentally ill, ending with 350,000 persons being sterilized against their will by 1939. Medical technicians, central to the operations of the Nazi State, perpetuated scientific nostrums of evolution and genetic hygiene based on eugenics to advance racial purity.

Many Nazi supporters in the early days of the regime may never have imagined the terrible outcomes of following this foul ideology. As such, caution should be applied to assess the “scientific” wisdom that informs anxieties over deterioration of the natural environment or the health of members of a community. Just as many of the accepted truths of the Green movement are based upon selective application of science, so are the “truths” guiding health policies in the time of Covid-19.

While Hitler used false generalities about Jews and gypsies, environmentalists rely on exaggerated claims that are often unsupported by logic or science or data. Consider the unfulfilled prophecies of a report by the Club of Rome (“Limits to Growth”) that foresaw an inevitable global armed conflict arising from resource depletion before the end of the 20^th century.

An example of “scientism” addressing the natural environment might be identified as “ecologism,” i.e., state-imposed interventions, regulations, and coercion to protect the natural environment. However, these actions must minimize interference with the peaceful exercise of the freedom of choice and the pursuit of personal dignity, or the harm to the human environment could exceed the benefits.

An effect of ecologism is to encourage intolerance toward individual choice and to oppose private ownership of property and resources. Evidence of this is found in acts of ecoterrorism, and the fact that confiscation of private property to promote environmental goals has attracted support.

In the extreme, environmentalists tend to claim that nature is inherently and objectively valuable. But this complaint is incoherent since human actions are an inescapable part of the reality of the natural world. Therefore, attempts to conjure up ethical reasons for injunctions against human alteration or use of some parts of the natural world are arbitrary and inappropriate.

Similarly, edicts in support of “public health” that disregard human agency have caused a rupture in the social fabric by inducing people to view others as a dangerous vector of disease. Mask mandates for an entire population, community-wide lockdowns and vaccine passports contradict a foundational notion of justice that innocence is presumed until guilt is proven. Meanwhile, governments encourage citizens to inform on or to shame anyone refusing to accept the lines drawn by their arbitrary “public health” goals.

One of the worst elements of pandemic policies is the impact on children of “public health” mandates. Kids have been terrorized by being told that violations of these rules might cause the death of a loved one. In turn, such fears not only destabilize their mental health, but they might also drive a wedge between them and their parents.

It is notable that within less than one year, nearly all the State imposed nonpharmaceutical interventions that contradicted decades of established medical and scientific knowledge. It is almost as if “science” was following policy, rather than the reverse.

For example, border closures had been considered inappropriate, mask wearing as a general strategy ineffective, quarantining the entire population misguided, and the human immune system was seen as the first line of defense against pathogens. All were cancelled in the same way as were statues of Confederate war veterans.

Shifting attention from “public health” policies to those addressing the natural environment, those that disregard the human environment can be counterproductive towards achieving their goals. Restraining individuals on the grounds of protecting the natural environment might make communities worse off if entrepreneurs are unable to serve as the engines of economic growth and innovation.

As it is, suppressing access to market-based rewards (profits) tends to slow the pace of technological advance and dampen gains in income. While fewer advances in technology can hinder rising incomes, doing so will also inhibit both the means and motivation for environmental protection.

In all events, government intervention and regulating human behavior are not the only ways to resolve problems of the natural environment or the health of members of a community. Greater intellectual energy should be put into ways to harness the beneficial effects of voluntary choice in markets as a substitute for the compulsion of government mandates.

For their part, economists have exerted considerable effort to examine ways in which the pricing system can bring about desired reductions in pollution and similar problems. Similarly, an alignment of private capacities with public interests led to remarkably rapid advances in vaccine research (even if long-term effects remain unknown).

In the case of environmental problems, market-based mechanisms like marketing pollution rights or privatizing wilderness areas and wildlife have been proposed. There are also innovative techniques like electronic “tagging” that allow identifying ownership of dispersed resources or tracing sources of pollution and setting a price on behavior.

Each of these proposals relies upon providing incentives that encourage improved monitoring and better use of resources and the environment. In particular, private ownership provides a strong incentive for careful use of natural resources by allowing owners to benefit directly from conservation and preservation that can bring enhanced values in the present and the future.

As this millennium unfolds, the world community faces mixed omens of hope and despair for the future. While the global demise of authoritarian regimes merits three cheers, the outcomes from the heightened awareness of environmental issues might warrant only two cheers, depending on where they take us. Unfortunately, the advancement of “public health” over individual health invites two jeers.

If the logic of ecologism leads to the erosion of property rights and human liberty from coercively-imposed environmental rights, it will almost certainly weaken support for preserving the natural environment. Similarly, “scientific authoritarianism” governments and international bodies to control human behavior in response to the pandemic have become increasingly contentious as citizens lose patience and begin to resist “public health” directives.

Attempts to impose unquestioned acceptance of specific scientific claims by publicly denigrating opponents or withholding support for research and projects that do not support the “consensus” narrative does not promote science, per se. Especially if it silences independent thought.

There is a risk of creating a dichotomy of “good” and “bad” science, leading to a toxic situation where positions are guided and hardened by partisan politics. True science should not be seen to be monolithic.

Just as with philosophy, doing science requires an open and skeptical mind. Scientists that seek to present a unified and authoritative voice or are guided by partisan interests should not be trusted when they opine on “public health” or the natural environment.

Resisting the advance of scientific authoritarianism has become the front line for the protection of human liberty and the sanctity of private property.

“Liberal institutions straightway cease being liberal the moment they are soundly established: Once this is attained, no more grievous and more thorough enemies of freedom exist than liberal institutions.”

What we face today, and what is coming in the near future is pure, unadulterated, totalitarian madness, and so long as the people of this country remain indifferent to this tyranny, it will worsen and escalate every single day until nothing of value remains.

It cannot be stressed enough that the end of America is just around the corner. The controlling scum in power seeks the end of this economy, the end of all freedom, the end of joy, the end of travel, the end of independent thought, the end of any realistic intellect, and the end of sanity. This is where we are headed, and only the masses that are in most respects to blame for this takeover, can stop it. That does not bode well for those of us willing to fight for our freedom, as we are now in the extreme minority. The risk to the actual freedom fighters is absolute, but without those willing to risk all for their freedom, little hope of a return to liberty is possible. All of us that will actively dissent, disobey all state orders, and call out the criminal government, are now targets of this heinous governing system, and every tactic necessary to eliminate resistance will be used against us. This is already beginning, as Biden declares “war” on domestic “terrorism.” Ex-CIA Director, John Brennan, said “Biden’s intel community are moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about the pro-Trump insurgency that harbors religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians.”  All of these are according to Brennan, insurgents, and he and the so-called “intelligence community” seem to be salivating at the prospect of war against the American people. This is a dire threat to anyone that disagrees with or stands against the state.

Criminalizing opposition to the political class is so insanely dangerous to the people that it can only be described as a policy contrived by psychopathic and evil dictatorial monsters as a way to gain total control over society through force. This is not an exaggeration; as what is called “domestic terrorism” is being openly discussed, and new legislation is not only being considered, but is already being implemented in some states. Biden and some members of Congress are calling for new domestic terrorism legislation that would vastly expand the powers of the police state. This is atrocious, as it will of course be misused to stifle all forms of dissent, while labeling any that disagree with government as terrorists. This could of course lead to a complete censorship of all protest activity, as well as most all speech. The ramifications of such draconian policies are beyond reason, and could literally destroy our ability to peacefully fight back against extreme tyranny.  The danger of this could easily lead to more violence by not only the justified victims of state tyranny, but also massive violent abuse of the citizenry by government enforcement goons in the police and military. Lunacy does not begin to describe the treacherous nature of such authoritarian measures.

We are now on the verge of becoming a police state the likes of which have never before been seen or imagined by any American. ‘Secret police’ operating as agents for the state will be commissioned to quell any discontent, any disobedience, and any non-compliance as described by the political class in power.  The people themselves will be expected to monitor their friends, family, and neighbors, and report what will be labeled as any seditious behavior. This reality is nearly upon us. Attempts to control all thought and action are desired, so we will be told to carry state approved identification papers, we will be told when and where we may go, and we will be told what we are allowed to say or write. Additional severe mandates will be forthcoming, and more fines, force, and incarceration will be threatened and will be implemented as deemed necessary by the controlling few. As scary as it sounds, this country could easily look more like Hitler’s Germany or Stalin’s Russia in the near future than the United States of old. This is not some wild or fantastic ‘conspiracy theory;’ just look around at all the signs in front of you.

Most of you are already masked; many of you have been forced to abandon your businesses and jobs, you have been told to desert your loved ones, and many have been driven into poverty. Now you will be told you may not travel or get the necessities of life unless you obey orders to get injected with a poisonous, gene-altering, and deadly concoction mislabeled as a vaccine. Once injected, you will have an operating system inside your body that can allow outside control over you. The evil Fauci is even saying now that this bogus ‘vaccine’ may become mandatory. Most are already complying with every order given; orders that are restrictive, extremely harmful, and life-changing, so how much additional effort by this heinous government is necessary in order to turn this population into slaves of a fascist and communistic oligarchy?

How many are willing to resist instead of acting like sheep? How many will gain the courage to say no? How many will take the required risk that is essential in order to reclaim freedom? How many of you will stand up to those attempting to control you? How many will wait until there is absolutely nothing left before you question this corruption? How many of you will continue to do as you are told, regardless of the consequences to yourself, your families, and your friends?

We are living a nightmare. The only escape from this horror is to wake up. If the many continue to sleep and continue to practice mass obedience, those of us willing to fight back will be targeted by this horrific state. If the people willing to stand up against this tyranny are silenced, incarcerated, or exterminated, all hope will be lost, and this American society will no longer exist in its present form. But if large numbers refuse to comply, refuse to take orders, and refuse to allow this totalitarian takeover, then we all win. Division will destroy us, but solidarity will defeat the enemy that is the state. It is time to put great fear in the hearts and minds of any ruler, politician, or enforcer that would attempt to control or enslave us!
